The mission of each of the bargaining committees is to bargain the best possible collective agreement for their unit. ASSEP’s three accreditation units are currently in bargaining for the renewal of collective agreements.

Lecturers

The collective agreement for lecturers expired on August 31st, 2020. However, it remains valid until a new collective agreement is signed.

The bargaining committee was given the mandate to bargain the next collective agreement, during the unitary general assembly of lecturers, on September 11th, 2020.

Your bargaining committee for this unit is made up of the following people :

  • Dany Généreux, responsible for labor relations
  • Sébastien Paquette, responsible for coordination

The committee will be supported by Alain Lachapelle, professional negotiator from the PSAC regional office.

Teaching assistants

The collective agreement for teaching assistants expired on August 31st, 2020. However, it remains valid until a new collective agreement is signed.

The bargaining committee was given the mandate to bargain the next collective agreement, during the unitary general assembly of teaching assistants, on September 10th, 2020.

Your bargaining committee for this unit is made up of the following people :

  • Sébastien Paquette, responsible for coordination

Post-Doctoral Fellows

The collective agreement for post-doctoral fellows expired on August 31st, 2020. However, it remains valid until a new collective agreement is signed.

The bargaining committee was given the mandate to bargain the next collective agreement, during the unitary general assembly of post-doctoral fellows, on March 15th, 2021.
