Since April 26, only the negotiating committee of the Postdoctoral fellowship unit has been able to meet with the employer. Two meetings took place on June 9 and July 7. A few normative points have been settled but nothing with regard to monetary matters. Yet our monetary demands for this unit were filed on March 17th! The negotiating committees of the three units are ready to continue the work during the summer but the employer only offers us availability from October. There is only a three-week period in September when the union party will not be available to negotiate. We have kept vacation constraints to a minimum, but the employer is not doing the same to move forward.
